Mine by Stacey Kennedy
5.0
I have been a fan of this series for some time. The writing is great. The BDSM is responsible with smoking hot sex. The stories never fail. As soon as I found Mine was up I jumped all of it. Color me surprised to find out this is the final book in the series. I was mid-read when I came to the realization and literally had to stop reading for a bit to have a period of mourning.
Now back to the book. I’m so happy the series starts with Dmitri and Presley and find it fitting that it ends with their story coming full circle. Throughout the series, it’s been brought up that the inaugural couple are the only ones left in the group who aren’t married. We’ve seen them grow as individuals as well as a couple and now it’s time for their happy ever after…finally but not before there is some angst and conflict. Club Sin and its members are in danger of being outed. How far will Dimitri go to protect the club and will he lose Presley in the process?
All in all, this is a fantastic novella to wrap up the series. At times, it feels like the story is a bit rushed but concurrently I couldn’t put it down. This is one of those rare books where I reading it all in one sitting. Mine does a fabulous job of wrapping up all the loose ends and gives a beautiful happy ending. What more could you want? For me, the answer is another series from Kennedy—and soon!
