I’ve contemplated this rating for a bit but I just can’t give it more than this. The first few chapters were good and so were the last 40 pages because there was stuff happening. The rest in between was just kind of boring like all that talking about war strategies and talking about boys could’ve been cut much shorter in my opinion. I liked that we saw Alina “grow” into her power a bit more and how she changed because of it but it was less than I would’ve liked. And we still don’t know why she’s the “chosen one” soooo….idk
I did like the new characters though, the twins and Nikolai were a good addition in my eyes.
