I drug on finishing this book. I was so hyped by the premise, truly influenced by the author, and it just fell so short for me. There's a lot of lore and world building, at times too much. I found myself having a difficult time keeping up with all of the information, trying way too hard not to tune out the audiobook.

If I had been physically reading this book, I would have DNF'd it for sure. The ending felt forced and in the end the MC was conveniently overpowered.
