I read this series years ago and at the time this was the latest book out. I remember it being my favorite and the one that I remember left my jaw on the floor. I loved the African setting and the idea of being killed by a lion was just horrifying. On my re-read this time, I am happy to know there are more books and a conclusion to this epic storyline featuring the only person more intense than Pendergast - his wife!
