Before starting this, I read reviews and saw that people thought there were a lot of similarities to other books, and I agree, which stuck in my mind the whole time I was reading Red Queen. BUT, I enjoyed the story and characters, nonetheless. I, like Mare, struggled with whether or not to like Cal, but I fell for him in the end [add him to my book bf list ;) ].
