Lily has been treated poorly by her father. Lily was going to be "gifted" to another man but she escaped. Her mom left her a house that her father knew nothing about so that's where she went. Upon arriving she can smell that a man has been in the home recently. What do you do when you find your fated mate living in your mother's home? 

I wish Vaughn had a cute nickname for Lily. I'm so glad Lily escaped such a horrible life. Elizabeth had something to do with the lightning. I did enjoy the fact that Vaughn caught Lily when she was running away from him. Vaughn seeing Elizabeth in Lily's face was definitely hard for him. It's cute how Vaughn was trying so hard to keep this platonic between them and his wolf was yelling back at him. The ending was perfect. 

I did enjoy this. I wish it was longer! I need more of them. For how short the book is it was all handled well.
