The Box in the Woods by Maureen Johnson
4.0
Box In the Woods is the fourth book in the Truly Devious series by Maureen Johnson, but it can also be read as a standalone. Compared to the trilogy, this is a tone down when it comes to the intensity of the mystery itself, but overall writing was pretty good.
Stevie Bell once again stile my heart with her deduction skills, the last few chapters were like a rollercoaster I did not want to get off of. When it comes to her friends, ss much as I like David, and he's visibly making an effort to be better after certain things cane to light in the trilogy, Nate stole my heart on Day 1 so for him to be featured a lot more was great.
Like all the books in the series, I finished this book in one sitting on the day I received my ARC and I would like to see more of Stevie Bell as she has the potential of becoming our generation's best fictional detective.
