Overall, this was a quick, easy read and the plot was intriguing. HOWEVER, I hated the characters. Every. Single. One.

Our protagonist Hannah has got to be the most frustrating and spineless person ever and to be honest I couldn’t stand her and this is what brought the book down a lot for me! It’s hard to say much without spoilers, but, Hannah’s naive and non-sensical decisions throughout the book just made me frustrated and ruined the ‘thrill’ for me. Don’t get me wrong- what this family had to go through is scary and I had chills thinking about it happening to me: but I simply would not make the irrational choices Hannah made!

Overall it was an okay read. If you can suspend your belief then I think you would enjoy!
