this was one of the best books i’ve ever read in my life. stunning writing - the way miss zevin made me interested in video games when i never cared for them! like now she has me wanting to get into video games because of how immersive she made the this world feel. her character development was PERFECTION. i was truly addicted to the the messy lives of sam, sadie, and marx. i was devastated and sobbed at what happened about 75% of the way in and will probably never recover but it’s FINE. this book was everything to me and i will be thinking about it for the rest of my life. it was incredibly creative, heartbreaking, and just fucking brilliant.
