The fae are my least favorite paranormals to read about although I can't explain why and I almost always seem to struggle through books about them. What keeps me reading this series is Mac & Barrons. I love the relationship between the two but I find Barrons endlessly fascinating. It's almost pathetic to admit, but the plot only interests me when it directly involves him. If you like the fae, you'll probably love the series...I'm just sticking it out for Barrons :)
