Everyone This Christmas Has a Secret by Benjamin Stevenson
4.0
I just plainly enjoy this series. I like Ernest a lot even though he’s definitely not always likeable, but the way the 4th wall is broken and he addresses the reader really works for me. I enjoy the schtick of it all, which is obviously key to enjoying this series. It might get old eventually but so far so good! I thought the mystery was well done even though this was a novella. There were a few points here and there that felt too short or under-explained probably for brevity’s sake since this is a novella, but overall I think most important elements were there. I also really enjoyed the use of an advent calendar as the structure of the story.
