I would never have picked up this picture book on my own, but recently a friend of mine was cast in an off-Broadway musical of the same name. I am trying to convince my husband to visit NYC over spring break so we can go see her in it. Just like with any book/movie adaptation, gotta read the book before I see the play. :o)

This was a charming little book with adorable illustrations. I imagine the musical will be just as charming.
