Historical Christmas read!  I thought it really brought the time period to life and it was fun to read about Queen Elizabeth's first Christmas broadcast at Sandringham.  To be honest, I think I enjoyed it more after watching The Crown as I felt a little more familiar with Queen Elizabeth!  It was a very slow burn relationship (for good reason) but that was probably also the reason why I felt a little frustrated with the main characters as well.  The audiobook narration was excellent and besides feeling a touch too long, it was quite a nice holiday read!
