The Nurses: A Year of Secrets, Drama, and Miracles with the Heroes of the Hospital by Alexandra Robbins
4.0
Whoa.
This book changed my whole perspective on nonfiction, besties. I've only read nonfiction books this month, most of them memoirs, but this book made me really want to read more books that are simply nonfiction.
I was really unsure what this book even was, at first, but basically, it's an examination of the nursing profession and the struggles that come with it through 10 different essays. But the twist of this is that there are personal accounts of 4 different nurses that sort of feel like a fiction novel.
Anyway, this was so good, and I'm excited to read the author's book about "overachievers" next!
