Ready to Fall by Daisy Prescott
4.0
After reading some other reviews, I was concerned about this one, primarily because the leading man is with someone else for the first 25% of the book. However, that provided the opportunity for the leading man and leading lady to establish their friendship first in this friends-to-lovers romance.
This story is told from a single point of view, which isn’t abnormal for romance, but what is unique is that it’s told entirely from the man’s perspective. I enjoyed that change-up.
I also really enjoyed this trip to the Pacific Northwest. The author’s descriptive writing made it feel like I was there on the driftwood beaches and temperate rainforests with John and Diane as they fell in love.
