I was shocked by how much I enjoyed this book. I will definitely be reading more. I was a bit taken aback when they switched to the western setting but once I realized it was the back story I really enjoyed that as well. I like Sherlock as a character too, he wasn't nearly as off putting as people have made him out to be. He seems to be brash and blunt but definitely not mean.
