A crazy-good gothic fever-dream where broken adolescents accept admission to a bizarre cult-like boarding college, in an attempt to transform themselves into shining beacons of adult society. Puzzling & haunting, the House demanded that I read this tale as rapidly as possible, and kept me awake at night while I did.
