Three kids find themselves trapped in another dimension resembling their own school. Suddenly they hear a mysterious voice over the speaker inviting them to play a game where they must bet their own names. The group must solve name based riddles and complete the challenge before sunrise, or risk their name being forgotten, and their existence being erased.
One of my fav aspects of Japanese has gotta be the Kanji, and so a book featuring riddles around Japanese names was just made for me. I loved trying to solve the puzzles and test my Japanese knowledge, and the story itself was also very interesting. I'll definitely be picking up the sequel to find out how it ends!
