I audiobooked this, it was fine. I could maybe describe it as a popular airport paperback, but one of the better ones. An accessibly written fantasy story that makes some statements in regards to society, but none of them strong enough to turn most readers off (or to impress me.) Lots of comparing struggles as if said struggle is over and the short strings are the new marginalized group. But, I wanted an easy, entertaining fiction book to listen to and this fit the bill. Voice actor did a good job.
