Fiction is over-saturated with dystopian trilogies, so finding an original dystopian story is incredibly difficult. But Scythe is a breath of fresh air, and offers a dark yet insightful perspective on death and the human race. The book is filled with great characters, amazingly crafted tension, and highly engaging conflicts. I have nothing negative to say about this book, and I will definitely be picking up the second book in the very near future.
