Loved the first 75% then lost the plot a little.
I like how unconventional Eloisa James' love stories are. There are side plots and side attractions (I like a little jealousy here and there). But sometimes they don't fully make sense.
Like why did Fletch kiss Jemma randomly near the end? After him and Poppy were mostly reconciled. Poppy sees and literally nothing comes of it.

Also the sex scenes really were not it for me in this book. Same with the first. I love James' storytelling though so I almost don't even care about that aspect of her books.

I do love Jemma and can't wait to see more of her relationship with her husband and her game with Villiers. I'm glad he didn't die from his infection. Hopefully he'll get a good love story too!
