A good end! Reminds me more of the first book with its slower first half and kind of meandering plot (the second book is definitely the tightest plot-wise), but a lovely conclusion with plenty of charming moments. It was so fun getting to see Wendell’s home realm at last! I will say I read this nearly immediately after the second book - I think that’s the best way to do it, since there are many small references to the second and even the first book in the series. Nothing that would make it hard to understand, but I feel like I appreciated it more with the rest of the story still fresh in my mind.
