Got this one on audio at the library for a road trip, and I think the narrator added quite a bit to my enjoyment of the book. As it was, though, the book hit a lot of my buttons: twisty historical mystery, female protagonist working against society's expectations, early medical history, 19th century France. I'll definitely be looking for sequels when they're released in English-- though I may wait to listen to them on audio, especially if they keep the narrator.
