I was lucky to get an ARC from Leitao through Nerdy Book Box Tours and I really enjoyed it for the most part! That said, there were some things that really took me out of the story. River's flashbacks were not very enjoyable unfortunately and the ending interactions between Azir and Ursiana felt drawn out.

There were also a handful of things that made me very uncomfortable and that could’ve been less explicitly written.

But! I loved Naia and Fel's sibling relationship and I like River up until a certain part. The beginning of this book drew me in and left me begging for more but because of the ending I don't think I will be continuing with this series. There were certain things that made me uncomfortable but I will definitely be recommending this story to other.
