A sensual novella filled with just enough steam and holiday cheer to keep the reader turning the page. There was an unclear jump from one scene to the next that was pretty confusing and the use of italics for some of the MC’s internal dialogue would’ve been useful. There was also a bit of repetitiveness in terms of all the “lip-biting” going on but it didn’t necessarily but a damper on my reading experience.
The storyline was decent and the author did an exceptional job at creating tension between the characters in a short time. Some of the filler moments could’ve been better spent with our leads rather than the supporting cast, but considering how community plays a part in this novel it makes sense that there wasn’t as much of that.
Recommended for those that want a quick read with extremely well-written intimacy scenes.
