Most of the time, Frieda knocks it out of the park, but sometimes I am disappointed.This book was a disappointment.

This just didn't seem plausible. Why would a successful career woman not thoroughly investigate a potential surrogate? I understand women are desperate for children, but wouldn't that desperation make you overly cautious? Also, the supernatural element at the ending was too much. I genuinely hope there is not a sequel.
