Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain
5.0
I just loved this book. Every minute of it. It's a great read for the both the quiet and the outgoing. For those of us that are quiet it lets you know - you're okay. It's okay to be quiet and to yourself. It's okay to like to home and calm. And that after a fun day out with loved ones, it's okay to come home exhausted and become a hermit crab. More importantly, that there's nothing wrong with you. For the outgoing ones, this is a great read to understand the quiet people in your life. They're not "antisocial" or "shy" they just have a calm demeanor and that's just as okay as your outgoing demeanor.
This was one book I wished I got a physical copy of. There were so many insightful passages. So many times it would have been perfect to scribble, "me too!" or "that explains it!" in the margins. Great book.
