Just Like That by Lena Hendrix
5.0
Absolutely obsessed. I’ve been dying for JP’s story because he’s been so mysterious throughout the other books, and I ate. this. up. I loved the dynamic between JP & Hazel—their banter was so much fun! I loved the way Hazel clearly pushed him out of his comfort zone, yet he couldn’t resist and kept showing up for her. I loved getting to know more about JP and see behind the walls he’s had up. The man is down bad, and I enjoyed every second of him falling. I love Hazel and how she’s both carefree, but also how she’s got anxieties and grief and is trying to do the best she can for her nephew, Teddy. And can we talk about Teddy? Because he was the absolute CUTEST, and I absolutely melted watching JP and him get to know each other. I loved getting to see the Kings and the Sullivans, and getting more of the overarching story we’ve had through the series. I always love being back in Outtatowner, and I just loved this one so much. I loved Hazel and Teddy, I loved JP, it was all just so good.
