Honestly this book left me so surprised but in a good way. I loved the characters and the storyline. I especially love Kingfisher just because of his personality and the way he talks to people. The things that he says sometimes make me smitten. I also loved Searis because of her stubbornness and bravery. Also girlie can fight!  The plot was amazing as well as the world-building. The spice was immaculate. I can’t wait for the second book!
