What to say, this one was fine. I enjoyed myself well enough but it was nothing compared to the first one for me. What Moves the Dead held such an intense atmosphere and I felt the tension while reading it. This one on the other hand I did not feel the atmosphere or tension of the unknown. I could see it trying to be its own story but it was still pulling the same imagery from the first one instead of being its own thing. It just did not captivate my attention like the first one did.

If there is a third one I will pick that one up but I think I will stick with the audiobook instead of reading it physically.
