A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas

emotional funny hopeful lighthearted sad fast-paced

I defiantly enjoyed this short and sweet little story a lot. I loved the holiday vibes it gave off and how it gave us a little insight into the post-war life of our main characters while not making it too drama heavy. It did help us set up what might be happening in the next book which makes me excited to start it. Going to be honest, Nesta bothers me so much however I understand that she is not happy and it pains me to see her in pain. I have this love / hate emotion with her because of her background that has been shared so far. (I understand in the next book we get a lot more of her so I am hoping that will help me get to know her more because I am struggling with her.) I did like that Feyre finally got back into creating artwork and painting. It was something I liked about her before and I am glad she was able to find some joy in it once again. I am excited to hopefully see more of that in the next book. This book was a prefect in-between and seeing the characters in a less stressful time. A drawback for this book is the multiple different point-of-views. We had about five different ones which is a bit much for my liking. However, it did not stop me from enjoying the book overall but I much prefer books who have one, possibly two, point-of-views in total. Too many can cause confusion so I hope in the next book it is not a huge issue.
