The Accident was a bit of a weird read for me, initially I was really gripped but then as the book went on I found myself losing interest and thinking it had become a little predictable. I will however give the author credit for accurately and sensitively covering an abusive relationship, so well that it genuinely was difficult to read in places. A solid 3/5 from me that I really wish would’ve been more as I feel there was a lot of potential but instead fell a little flat
