Such. A. Good. Ending.
I don’t even know how to review this without wanting to give all the spoilers but I will not.
The epic finale has some of the most heart wrenching scenes, some of the best banter, and so much fucking love. I cannot praise it enough.
My girl Harlow is going through it y’all. One of the reasons it took me so long to read was because I too was Going Through It In April. So was trying to be gentle with myself. My favorite thing about all of Allison’s books is mental health rep, neurodivergent rep, especially the parts that are frustrating and not glamorous.
My sweet Finn. My darling Larkin. Let me just hold everyone, please.
The ending?! Y’all I cannot. My emotions were all over the place. It is so fucking satisfying but maybe not in a way some people expect. But I trust Allison and I was not disappointed.
I am once again in awe of Allison Carr Waechter’s ability to weave stories and how it will connect in The Tapestry. I’m actually going to reread her first two books of Outlaws of Interra now because I need more.
My heart is sad to leave Harlow and Finn, the maters, all the sisters, Enzo, Axel!! And everyone else. But I will revisit them again.
I adore The Immortal Orders and I adored the book.
