DNF'd

Tbh after reading Rudy Francisco's Helium (probably my fav book of the year) and Safia Elhillo, this does not feel like poetry.
It is too forceful, too "on the nose" and there's no flow, rhyme, or lyrical qualities about the very obvious messages intended.
I do not like to be talked down on, especially by a poetry book.
