Man, I wrote a whole review and the app ate it. Tl;dr is this book tells instead of showing to its own detriment, and the ending felt unearned and undermined most of (what I gathered to be) the point. That being said, I enjoying the writing on a sentence level a great deal and there were a lot of good ideas, even if some were a touch underbaked in the execution. Another round or two of editing likely would have made a huge difference.
