I liked this one a tiny bit more than the last book, but the constant reminder that Prisca and Lorian couldn't ever be together was really annoying and made me angry. To the point it felt ridiculous.

What I did love was how they were with each other. I really love both of their characters separately and together. Prisca feels realistic and not annoying like many FMCs before her. She knows she needs help and accepts it gladly when it presents itself. She doesn't carry unnecessary burdens. It's so refreshing to read!

Overall, a really good read. 4.25
