Urgh I have such mixed feelings about this book. I loved the first half and got through it so quickly. I found it super tense and was excited for what was to come. However, I felt like the second half didnt deliver and found the ending to be quite muddled and confusing. I felt as though the author was trying to do a ‘cliff hanger what really happened’ scenario but it didnt quite work out and would’ve felt like a more complete reading experience had it included a more defined ending.
First half was a 5 star, second half was a 3 star and the ending was a 1 star. I generally enjoyed the experience and it did keep me hooked but not as great as I wanted it to be
