I think this is the one I have been waiting for. I enjoyed this one as much as the first time I read it. I love the cross over between the multiple series.

Eli and his thinking that he didn't belong to the family slayed me, as well as his and Caleb's pain when the truth came out to everyone. I think this was handled well as everyone involved blamed themselves for what happened, except the person who should have. I loved Dom in this scene. He stood up Eli and proved his worth as his father in that one scene.

I also felt for Mav. Families sometimes are so cruel and to be so isolated from his only family is very wrong. His grandfathers actions were horrible when he bought his mother home. He showed no compassion to a man who had lost his mother.

Both guys had their issues, and at times pushed the other away. Eli was probably the stronger as he realised he had been cruel and went straight away to right the wrong. He stood by Mav when he needed him most and Mav was his ardent protector in return.

Looking forward to Brennan's story next.
