The Heat Will Kill You First: Life and Death on a Scorched Planet by Jeff Goodell

challenging dark informative medium-paced

5.0

So well written, the prologue hooked with a terrible tragedy that could easily happen to any of us, and the devastation raged on through the end of the book. We can't keep wasting time. People are unwittingly moving to areas that are growing considerably hotter with the expectation that we'll just keep cranking up the AC and pumping in water. It's not sustainable. With every area on the planet heating up, the impacts to the food supply and political stability are a nightmare already started.
