doesn’t stand up to the feelings i had for if we were villains but a nice spooky, atmospheric novella which does a decent job in under 200 pages of creating an almost fireside ghost tale vibe
i would’ve appreciated this as a full book honestly, but i understand that it’s a limited story and maybe Rio just didn’t feel justified in doing a whole novel for it! i did find it a little bit predictable but i think if i read it again during october i would appreciate the vibes more
