Well… that was a bit more YA in the sense that the entire country needs a teenage girl to swoop in with 0 experience and somehow save everything. It was quite annoying, but I’m still somehow invested in the story and I kind of want to see how the next book plays out as the conclusion. Second book syndrome is a side effect of the best YA trilogies, so I’ll keep going. It was fun to see Sage out of her element a bit in a camp with soldiers.
