While the book’s characters are not racially or ethnically diverse, one of the main plot lines involves a chronic health issue. Rarely do the main characters have a health issue that is central to their life choices or (annoyingly) not miraculously cured by love. Reading a story in which 2 regular people, overcome common problems, fall in love in such a witty & believable way was incredibly refreshing —sans billionaires, magic, & murder. Of course, the light roasting of HGTV shows (& possibly a particular star couple), which I do enjoy, made Honey-Don’t List a fun, fast, frolicking read.
