I didn't think I'd enjoy a Christmas Carol retelling but this one surprised me so much and while it was a lot of fun and lighthearted for the most part, there was a really heartfelt and emotional element to the story too.  The ending was just *chef's kiss* and just like A Christmas Carol, it reminds us to think about what is important to us and the meaning of the holidays.  Wonderful holiday read, I'm going to recommend this to my friends for sure.  I enjoyed reading this one in print but the audiobook narration was also great!
