i was not expecting to like this book - of course i had heard of ‘frankenstein’ but i had never sat down and actually read it, due to the “older” english that is used in the novel. however, when we were assigned it in my senior english class, i quickly became enthralled with the story. when i was told we wouldn’t finish it in class, i made effort to finish it up on my own. and i’m glad i did! this story has a lot of deep analysis that you can go into, but i’m not going to get into any of that here. it isn’t one of my new favorite books or anything, but i can’t lie and say i don’t feel a tad bit smarter for
