Reading this was quite a ride; a train ride, if you will. Haha.
Kat and Annie are on a journey to escape and find a safe place....and themselves as well. They are very different but bound by a sweet sisterly love and their travelling companions are interesting and add a nice dynamic. The cast of characters they run into on their journey add color as well.
The characters were all compelling, the tale entertaining and the message behind it very important.
Also, I may have teared up a bit at the end. That's something that doesn't happen often. Loved it.
