The Explosive Child by Ross W. Greene
5.0
This is pretty much the end-all-be-all text for parenting children who are “easily frustrated and chronically inflexible.” I have never read anything that describes one of my children so well. I don’t meet many people who have a child like mine, so I found this extremely insightful and helpful. We’re attempting to put some of these methods into practice in hopes of bringing more peace to our home. I found (today!) that Dr. Greene also has two podcasts – one for teachers and one for parents – that I think outline what is in the books and beyond.
