I remember reading this when it came out but didn’t review it back then, so I’m extra glad to have re-read it now. My son is studying the Holocaust in school and this is one of the books they’re reading for a book club discussion. I wanted to re-read it so I could talk about it with him, especially relating it to current events so he’s aware that history is repeating itself and can stay on the right side of it.
