The perfect book to read drifting in and out of a nap -- heavily symbolic, strange, and untidy. I particularly enjoyed the psychosomatic mother and enigmatic doctor. It has, somehow, been adapted into a movie, which I will obviously watch because I worship at the altar of Deborah Levy.
