Simple book with water-related pictures and simple Anishinaabemowin and English words - one word on each page. Teaches words like rain, snow, swim, drink, grow, respect, and protect. The last two pages are the most complex, each with a phrase in both languages - "Nibi is water," and "Water is life."
There is also a pronunciation guide in the back, which I always find comforting. Teaching (everyone!) Native languages is such an important quest, and knowing I am saying those words correctly is just as important.
