This installment is brilliant!

I loved everything about it.

And I’m so pleased to notice that this author has been consistent with the development of his main character, DS Cross, and going in the right direction.

The writing is even better than his previous book(s).

The plot was clever, as well as the line of inquiry or interviews.

The conclusion was terrific!

DS Cross is definitely a unique and memorable character.

I’m looking forward to reading the next book, “The Monk”.
